TEN Round Table meeting in Macedonia
The Eastern Europe & Eurasia Social Legacy Program hosted the Transparent Education Network (TEN) Roundtable in Struga, Macedonia from September 24 -26, 2009.

Over 50 participants from seven (7) countries participated in at least 2 sessions and most in the full event. Sessions during the first two days focused on capacity building for participants (i.e. sessions on “Understanding Corruption in Education” and “Skills Development Workshop: Advocacy to Promote Transparent Schools”) and showcasing the work of the Transparent Education Network.

The last day of sessions focused on collectively reflecting on the work of the TEN members and looking into next steps that could help sustain the efforts of the local partners and the Network.

Below are some highlights of the event:

* Promoted professional development for TEN members in areas such as awareness raising, project management, and development of honor codes
* Created a space for exchange of ideas, knowledge, lessons learned, and promising/best practices in this field
